We’re thrilled to release version 1 of our Autocomplete library, which provides everything you need to build full-featured autocomplete experiences. Formerly known as Autocomplete.js, the v0 has been powering the autocomplete experience our Shopify and Magento integrations. The new major version already runs the search of the Algolia docs (you’re reading it!), the Tailwind CSS and Vue.js docs, as well as the front end of our Netlify plugin.

Following Adobe, that has stopped support for Magento 1 on June 30 2020, we’ve decided to sunset our Magento 1 extension. We’re no longer developing new features for the extension, and only releasing critical security updates when necessary. This also means we’ve removed the documentation for the integration. You can still access an archive of the documentation for our Magento 1 extension.

We’re excited to present the newest major version of the Ruby API client! This new version adopts all the best practices we use in our other API clients, while still being super easy to get started with. You can upgrade now if you’re already using the Ruby API client, or start by installing the client.

We’re proud to announce the release of our Swift API client v8, the biggest change since its introduction. It adopts the best practices of modern Swift development and eases the integration of Algolia into your Swift project on any platform!

We’re thrilled to announce the release of version 4 of our JavaScript API client. It’s faster, smaller, more flexible, and features the implementation of our common API client specification.

Another milestone for InstantSearch. We released version 4 for InstantSearch.js and version 6 for React InstantSearch!

Our custom web crawler, aptly named Crawler, is now publicly available as an add-on for Enterprise plans! We’ve added Crawler documentation and reference pages for the Crawler’s Configuration API and its REST API.

Huge release! We’ve redesigned our docs and rewritten much of the content. We’ve centered our docs around use cases, so they’re directly relevant to what you want to do with Algolia. You should find overviews with more examples, and many more how-to and in-depth guides.

We rewrote most of our Laravel Scout documentation as part of the release of Scout Extended.
